We believe architecture is the quiet art of organizing light, material, and human life into spaces that age gracefully.
Founded in Jakarta in 2009, Architect Studio is a multidisciplinary practice working across architecture, interiors, and material research. We design with restraint: fewer gestures, more intention.
Every project begins with listening — to the climate, the city, and the people who will inhabit the space. From that listening, form follows.

A studio is born
Architect Studio begins as a two-person practice in a small Jakarta garage, taking on residential renovations.
2013
First public commission
Wins an open competition for a community library — our first public building and first design award.
2017
Flagship studio, Jakarta
The practice moves into a self-designed converted warehouse, growing to a team of twenty.
2021
International recognition
Our courtyard house receives an international sustainability award; projects expand across Asia.

Launches a material research lab focused on tropical, low-carbon construction.
